DESCRIPTION:Do you want to insert some noise into the surveillance camera system (and protect your identity in the process)? Artist Leo Selvaggio has your back and has offered you his face! The website has not been updated in quite a while\, but his masks are there and available for free:\n\n2D: https://www.urmesurveillance.com/urme-paper-mask (scroll to Print at Home Kit)\n\n3D: https://www.urmesurveillance.com/3d-papercraft\n\nNote that laws covering mask wearing in public differ by jurisdiction. See https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/anti-mask-laws-by-state. (The link on the URME website is way out of date and not recommended.)\n\nConsider making more than one...you never know who else might be able to use one.\n\n=====\n\nWhere are surveillance cameras near me?\n\nCheck out https://osmcamera.dihe.de/. Maps like this are usually crowd sourced so may not be 100% accurate\, and maps on different sites may have different information. (If you find information that is missing or incorrect\, contribute to the cause by updating the site.) And if you know of another map that's awesome\, let us know and we'll add it here.\n\nWant to make your mask with others in a virtual mask-making party?\n\nIf you'd like to work on your mask with like-minded folks\, let us know in the comments and we'll set up a time for some community.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:If you're of a certain age\, you may have grown up seeing "Kilroy was here" drawn on telephone poles\, in bathroom stalls\, and anywhere there was a flat surface. But do you know the origin? We learned about it from @altspaceforce.altgov.info. (Has Kilroy made it into space yet?)\n\nAnywhoo\, to find out more\, check out https://archive.is/Ays60 (originally https://www.nps.gov/rori/learn/historyculture/kilroy-was-here.htm\, but who knows how long it will be before the Rump administration removes this page). Let's carry on Kilroy's tradition while we support democracy!\n\nThe goal of this project is to pepper our country with Kilroy by distributing Kilroy cards and stickers anywhere we can. This will let like-minded folks know they are not alone\, that we are in this together!\n\nThere are a couple options:\n\n- Print the linked file (listed under Website) onto print-at-home perforated business card stock (or regular card stock or paper -- cut lines are included).\n\n-Print double sided to include a QR code for others to join this activity and print their own. You can print in either B&W or color.\n\n\n- Print p. 1 only onto business-card-sized sticker paper (https://www.suppliesshops.com/3534-x-234-white-business-card-size-label-10-labels-per-sheet-100-sheets-per-carton-p-13075.html) (or letter-sized sticker paper and use the cut lines).\n\n\nWhenever you are out and about\, leave a card or stick a sticker somewhere visible. If you want\, snap a photo and post on social media with a link back to this page and #KilroyWasHere. Let's support each other\, our fellow Americans\, and our amazing allies outside the US!\n\n
